About Larry Porras:
Larry Porras is a native of Nebraska, born in Scottsbluff and graduated from Gering High School. He then moved to Colorado where he pursued a career in tele-communications, first working with TCI of Colorado, and finishing with NBC Universal 26 years later. During that time in Colorado, Larry met his wife Karen and raised two boys, Alex, and Rory, who still live there. Larry and Karen made the decision to move to Scottsbluff, not only to be closer to his aging mother, but also because his wife is fascinated with the bluffs and the small-town feel.
Larry Porras gained an interest in Real Estate having been exposed to his wife’s 30-year span as a realtor. So, after moving to Scottsbluff, he followed in his wife’s footsteps, got his Nebraska real estate license and joined Champion Realty. Larry Porras has an incredible work ethic which comes from believing in treating people the way he would want to be treated.
Larry has said that growing up here, he took for granted what was around him, and now that he is back, appreciates the beauty and history of this valley.
